DEG receives Environmental Social Enterprise of the Year award
We at DEG were honoured to receive the Environmental Social Enterprise of the Year 2025 award on the 9th of October as part of the Social Business Wales Awards.
The awards, which attracted a record 101 entries this year, celebrate the best of Wales’ social enterprise sector – businesses that use their profits and efforts to benefit people and the planet, and strengthen local communities.
At the brilliant awards ceremony organised by Cwmpas in Neuadd Maesteg, it was inspiring to hear about all the wonderful and important work being done by all the shortlisted organisations.
The Social Business Wales awards are organised by Cwmpas, alongside DTA Wales, Social Firms Wales, UnLtd, WCVA, and funded by the Welsh Government. The Environmental Social Enterprise of the Year 2025 category celebrates organisations with tackling environmental issues at their core.
