Cartrefi Clyd

Cartrefi Clyd (Welsh for cosy homes) is a partnership between DEG and Cwm Arian Renewable Energy, Lightfoot Enterprises and Rounded Developments Enterprises to provide retrofit advice to homeowners.

Put simply, retrofitting a house means applying improvements to your home to make it as clyd as possible.

All partners have provided specialist energy saving or retrofit advice services for many years and are community energy groups or social enterprises based locally in Wales. They understand the local geography, climate and building types. We want to help as many households as possible so between December 2023 and August 2025, our services will be subsidised thanks to funding from the Energy Industry Voluntary Redress Scheme.
